After the advice from Prime Minister Boris Johnson yesterday afternoon (10.05.2020, 19:00) we are waiting for clarity as to whether our doors can re-open on Wednesday (13th May). We are constantly checking the government website and with HTA (Horticultural trade association) for this to be confirmed. The small skeleton team have been working tirelessly to ensure demand for deliveries are met, as well as preparing the store for re-opening and looking after our plants.

Please keep checking here and on our social media accounts for an update on our re-opening.

Deliveries will continue, however for now they are allocated for the vulnerable, elderly, single parents and those self -isolating. We will deliver large items if these are not able to fit in cars safely, this is at the discretion of management.

PLEASE NOTE

Although the majority of our customers have been very understanding during this period we will cancel an order if we receive verbal abuse, written or spoken. Sadly this has been the case. Our very small team is coping with extremely difficult circumstances and we are simply hoping that we are doing enough to survive. Our colleagues do not deserve to be ill-treated to add to their anxiety. We are endeavouring to deliver the best service we possibly can. We were not set up to deliver an amazon style delivery service. Our product is Heavy, and or living, we have limited suppliers willing to deliver.

We would also like to take the opportunity to praise our team who have currently delivered 56 Tonnes of compost in 5 weeks, processed more than 9000 emails with phones constantly ringing. We are also working with a local nursery to support them in these difficult times.
